The Agreement establishes when the first organism with the ability to vocalize cuts a deal with its probable kin or neighbor. The structure of the Agreement is understood as mediation, words for pacts and services, currencies for efforts and results. The external process of labor and its transformation into a product is a mutable premise. We agree that rewards are secured for services rendered. The Agreement is necessary in order to lubricate a community. In an attempt to subvert the dominant hierarchy of evaluation, this group investigates an intimacy with the byproduct of its creative labor.

The Agreement is a work in progress that has originally been presented in the frame of InZUCHT festival, a self-organized event from the BA Dance, Context and Choreography study program at Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz Berlin. It was revisited a number of times under different names and circumstances, as for example within the Black Mountain College exhibition at Hamburger Bahnhof ([dry] [title], July 23, 2015).
